Yeah ok so um... your CPU is 4c8t on Skylake architecture.... yeah so here's the thing with CS2 that I think a LOT of people clearly do not understand, it's CPU heavy. Even with graphics maxed out, my 2080 Ti isn't the limiting factor, which is miles faster than a GTX 1650 mobile. However, I have a 9900K with hyperthreading disabled, overclocked to 53x/50x core/cache, and B die tuned at 3900 flat 16 timings. It is STUPID fast for this game, I have literally zero FPS problems in this game, I can maintain 240 FPS consistently without dropping a single frame, maxed out except for the multisampling setting, I have that at CMAA2. But everything else is maxed, and no upscaling either. Both CPUs on the same architecture (contextually speaking), 8c8t at 5.3 GHz with 2x16GB B die at 3900 CL16, versus 4c8t at 4.0 GHz with maybe 2x8GB at 2933 CL19, yeah you are going to have problems in CS2 lol. What is your graphics settings, and what resolution and refresh rate?
I'm using my custom settings but my settings are equivalent with high preset (high settings with 4x MSAA, CMAA looks too bad, that's why I prefer to use MSAA despite performance loss, I wish Valve add TAA). I downloaded CS2 benchmark in Steam Workshop, maybe you saw this benchmark:
Average FPS is approximately 80 with high settings (4x MSAA) and unfortunately GPU usage is never %100, I guess approximately %70. Sometimes CPU usage is %100 for 5 seconds (shader compilation) in game. And I have to add this: In Inferno and Ancient, my FPS is 100 in menu, in desert maps or some maps that haven't foliages for example Dust 2 or Anubis, my FPS is 120. Approximately %20 performance loss. Smoke drops performance %50 and GPU is fully utilized in smoke :D
My panel is 120 Hz 1080p, I forgot to add.
