Alt-tabbed out, Running maxed 1680x1050 in DX9. 2GB is killing my performance, but its playable. DX10 was a HUGE slideshow, so DX9 it is. The graphics are a lot better, and the explosions are amazing. To me, better looking then Jrob's mod.

Fallout3 pumped more hype than warhead imo, its a contender alright, but imo, it must first attain a multiplatform state for it to be a sure hit. In anycase, cant wait for my copy ^^

They'll never get my money as long as they use a scheme like this. I change computer parts too often to have to deal with it. A lot of times, it's because of untimely hardware death. Even if they gave us a deauth tool, what am I supposed to do, deauth the computer every single time I was getting ready to do some bench runs? They can can use marketing speak and propaganda all they want, it doesn't make this DRM scheme any less ridiculous.

They need to go back to disc based authentication. That was a happy medium to me. Until then, people need to stand up for their rights as a legal purchaser of games, and boycott this stupid DRM scheme. Warhead was available on trackers sans DRM before it even officially released. What exactly are they preventing here? Nothing at all. They are only managing to annoy paying customers. The pirates still get off scott free.
