cool! i was starting to think no one was going to show me anything in regards to nv putting up performance numbers. 30 percent is good but not on the playing field of amd that is after all the performance increase amd gets for lighting affects alone.
It looks spiffy with the WHQL but i dont think amd is worried about it with such close involvement with microsoft. after all it just means it works(most the time) and not that its fully utilizing what dx12 has to offer.

no your the one not making since.. some things have been demonstrated as fact and the 30 percent increase nv has shown is nothing compared to the 100 percent amd has shown.
the real question and always was the question is when both are fully optimized who will be the victor.

It still remains speculation and again is pointless.... why? because simply by the time enough DX12 enabled games become available (in reality most likely 2 years) both NVidia and AMD will have a completely new set of Graphics hardware on the table so current offerings will not factor so these improvements based on hardware available in 2015 will either not exist or will have changed dramatically, until then most games released will still be DX11 where NVidia seem to lead in any case. On top of that I would speculate that the largest proportion of PC owners (not enthusiasts or hardcore gamers) will not go out and spend their "hard earned" on a DX12 Graphic card upgrade until there were a few games around to support it, by which time as I said, the hardware has moved on in any case #TattyTwistedLogic

You keep saying people are not making sense and yet you quote AMD's 100% improvements but it seems you are basing that on speculation (again) or AMD marketing which in itself is a risk as is believing what any other competitor says on the subject at this stage, playing Devil's Advocate if NVidia states 30% I would guess it's competitors would claim better.

Firstly, I am not arguing, I am discussing, there is a clear difference that I am sure even you can identify, nowhere have I stated that your point is wrong, merely in my opinion pointless simply because it is currently based on speculation. There is no difference to make yet as there are an insufficient number of DX12 games and supporting hardware on a final release OS to test bench that speculation on, I think I actually said that your speculation may well be right but that's all it is up to now........... until there is there is no difference which is all my point is, when there is I will be one of the first in line to congratulate AMD as I tend to buy their offerings. The difference in our searching is quite explainable, with regards to the Forbes article...... I didn't search, you did that for me and posted it in your OP, I only searched when you stated that there was nothing on the NVidia site about DX12.
You have started a discussion thread on a topic, an interesting one at that but it seems that anyone stating their opinions without being unpleasant or personal get an attack from you and you accuse me of arguing? I am a great supporter of open honest debate on any topic even if it causes a little "heat" which is why this one is still open but you seem bent on being unpleasant but I am more than happy to see how this proceeds for a while, in the hope that you as the OP calm down a little as I would hope one or two others will also.

I always call my logic twisted because logic is subjective and I have used the term several times. I honestly understand your frustrations, I can see it in your posts across all these threads but you really do need to address it in a different way, you clearly have some knowledge but you really do need to take a look at the way you handle people who have different views, I or any of the Mods are not your enemy it would seem you are to be honest, I wish you no ill but I really do think at this point you need a holiday for a spell so I am going to oblige, please do come back and contribute in a positive way.
