Glad they stuck with DX11. I don't like Microsoft pushing their new stuff to lock you into Windows 10. There is nothing wrong with DX11 as I've explained in other posts.

That's the funny thing. After the big push for DX12 and Vulkan, now all of a sudden people are discovering DX11 and OpenGL can also be lean if used carefully.This is key -- if you make your game in DX12, you eliminate a huge user potential customer base that still uses Win7 and Win8 (I think). Destiny has to play to the biggest potential customer base.
Also, this game is really well optimized and smooth, even on my system (i3/1050ti). Looks great at that level, too. I didn't encounter one bit of slowdown the entire beta.
