DFI, which is focusing on IPC motherboards these days, launched the SD630-H110, an entry-level socket LGA1151 motherboard based on Intel H110 Express chipset, and built in the ATX form-factor. Designed with a focus on legacy connectivity, the board seats a 6th generation Core "Skylake" processor, powers it with a simple 6-phase VRM, and wires it to two DDR3 DIMM slots, supporting up to 16 GB of dual-channel DDR3L-1600 memory; and a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot. A PCI-Express 2.0 x4 slot (open-ended) and five legacy PCI slots make up the rest of its expansion area.

Storage connectivity includes four SATA 6 Gb/s ports. Legacy connectivity includes four serial COM ports, with one RS232 connector, an LPT port by header, 8-bit GPIO, a feature-rich LPCIO controller with EXT-RS232/RS485 connector options, PS/2 combo port, and a number of USB 2.0 ports. Modern connectivity includes two gigabit Ethernet interfaces, driven by Intel I210AT and Intel I219LM controllers; 6-channel HD audio, four USB 3.0 ports, DVI, and HDMI 2.0 display output.

GREEN!!?? Hell yeah!

A very spooky post... Lurking for the past... Just as DFI and the legacy/industrial board design.

This company has come SO far these days! Such quality and awesomesauce.

I'll leave this here for the people who didnt get my sarcasm.

RIP to the REAL DFI lol

Such humble beginnings and such quality (at the time) products.... such a shame those nasty P45/X48 AND P55/X58 motherboards put the last nail in DFI's coffin. Everything before that time was pretty much golden.

Damn, haven't heard about this company since the P1 days

Im glad you guys appreciated the board picture lol

Looking hawt there, dippy. ;)

DFI should still produce OC mobos since they were just pure awesomeness.

I still like pci for sound cards =D

Thats a nice board

i like their full back connectors, yeah green board looks like back into 1990s era and looks pretty plain , no hsf, pci, and those sata ports

The motherboard is for industrial use, that's why all those legacy connectors and ports. PCIe is for sound cards. ;)

wow. i still have mine too. i still have my ocz ddr booster as well.

Not their focus anymore, and its not been their focus for a long time. Their original board designer that made their enthusiast boards during the massive pc boom in the late 90s and early 00's left the company and i dont think DFI ever managed or bothered to replace that guy.

At that time i think it forced DFI's hand to leave the enthusiast market a little earlier than planned. I do think they had it on the cards to withdraw eventually as the competition was becoming too fierce.

It would be nice if they did a limited one off run of an enthusiast board to prove it to themselves that they still have what it takes but also as a throwback to say "Hey, we made these boards back in the day"

Long live the 939 socket!! :D (My first solo build was an Athlon X2 4400+!!)

I still have 2 or 3 s754 boards of theirs. Mostly NF3 stuff, for when I get nostalgic.

I still have some broken DFI motherboards in my closet somewhere:)

I haven't updated my sig since those days heh
