wow, makes me question myself why i bough cheap mobo :)

intel or amd?

thats the ugliest packaging ive ever seen in my life.

looks like a socket 775 board, i.e Pentium 4 and Conroe Compatible based on the retention mechanism

I have been waiting for this board for quite some time. It is the only 680 board where two PCI slots remain free when 8800s are used in SLI.

Just checked Austria and Germany, still only EVGA and XFX boards available. Both completely reference design *sigh*

nope 6 further ones are at an angle on the edge of the board

hah, thats a thermalright cooler on one of the mobos - the HR-05 SLI iirc.

And yep, thats definately a 680i chipset, which means intel 775 - Pentium 4, conroe, kentsfield and all that shebang.

bad choice on the 90 degree sata connectors, they would be next to impossible to use. Can you imagine trying to connect/disconnect those once the mobo is in a case?

And the 8-pin CPU power near the CPU socket - could they have moved it any further away from the main ATX lead? cable mess :(

Yeah with ur case obviously u'd have a problem... My case? No problemo... So much space, like 5cm from drive bays... soprano is worse though.. the HDDs overlap the mobo.

Oh man, What happened to the sick layout DFI boards are becoming so well known for, they have gone back to the standard layout, I am sure they could have put the 2 intel power connectors closer together to help eliminate messy cabling... That lanparty heatsink looks kinda BLING BLING.... haahaaa Nice

I WANT ONE!!!

lol

Nice looking board and accessories. angled SATA is a mess, but you can get angled connectors to fit it. Power layout is kind of a mess, but not unmanageable (modular PSUs anyone?). Lets see, at least its not the sick orange and yellow all over the place colors. I love the included heatsinks and how you yourself can place them on (AS5 rules, and ceramique too!). Uhm, Packaging is simple and nice...not overly flashy. For an LT, it has 3 PCIe16x connections for physics, I dont know of any 680i full fledged nvidia board that has 3 lanes, so thats nice. If it had built in HDMI, this would be a kick ass board. One thing that worries me, even though its pretty kick ass, is the cutomized BIOS. Will there ever be updated BIOS that are also customized? I hope they worked out all the kinks and such with this board, just in case they never do an update (But I suspect they would, no sense in keeping that ONE bios just in case something needs a bit of tweaking.)

All around nice board and Im assuming a nice price?

Looks like somebody spilt tango all over it. Ugly.

Oh My God! I Need That!

the colors are kinda strange, but it is still awsome mobo

AWSOME glad to see they didn't stick with the refrance 680i LT design. this i really like a 680i at LT prices....sick..

Just found this board on ebay in Aussie for $450 pre order.............. holy crap!!!! how much is it over there in US

thats still cheaper than some boards, i remember the asus striker extreme cost that much for normal pricing for a while.

yea that board sells for more than some nforce 680 as it seems. The DFI has been listed for 258€s here.

cheers

Yeah I don't like the lanpartys color scheme at all. Plain black would look much better.

Yea. People will think your 6 or something if you show them inside your PC an that happens to be there with all its rainbow type colours :p
