is it bad to put a fan above the gpu against the case airflow maybe?
Probably not a good idea to go against the airflow. It may help the GPU a little but it may also hinder cooling for the CPU, RAM, chipset, VRMs and other heat sensitive devices.

You could try it, monitor your other devices and see what happens. But if me, I would not do it. Good case flow typically helps the CPU too.

how would you suggest ? do you think i should try first 2 top exhaust or 2 bottom intake to start ? mainly to help ssd temps

thanks

I prefer front to back air flow or bottom to top. If using top too, have it exhaust unless you have a radiator up top too than needs intake.

You want a slight positive or over-pressure. This means slightly more intake than you have exhaust. With a slight positive pressure, the excess pressure will try to escape out the cracks, case seams and ports. That's a good thing because it helps keep the case interior clean of heat-trapping dust and it also prevents dust from getting jammed into the ports and (if you have one) DVD/Blue-ray tray.

I say slight because too much pressure can result in stagnant pockets.

Every case is setup so you will just need to try different configurations while monitoring your temps to see what is best.

One last thing - it is critical to keep your electronics properly cooled. But it is NOT necessary to keep it as cool as possible. A CPU running at 35°C, for example, will not be more stable, perform better or have a longer life expectancy than if running at 30°C.

i don´t know if it is worth adding more fans anyway , it only peaks 72 degrees at extreme benchmark conditions

while gaming it reaches about 55 to 60 degrees averages

i did not want to put it hanging on gpu tbh

Hey guys , this is a old pic but it is the same as i use now

I´m wondering , is it bad to put a fan above the gpu against the case airflow maybe?

when doing 9 loops with 64gb , it peaks at 72 degrees ( the 66 degrees were at 1gb data)

how can i accurately help the temps without hindering airflow ? sorry it is because i´m bit tired of benchmarking , assembling PCs etc ...]

should it put it below , bottom or left / right side above the gpu ?
thanks

Oh you have some space constraints from the CPU air cooler. You could lay down a thin 12v PWM based centrifugal fan on top of your GPU and point the exhaust at your SSD.

Small USB powered versions of these fans also exist if that's easier

too bad i already bought a 120mm normal case fan

i wanted to do it the conventional way if possible ( i think this type of fan is not even possible to buy in my country lol))

If your desperate to cool your SSD perhaps make some cardboard duct work to channel part of the middle fan air flow to your SSD and fill the top position with your new fan. Problem solved.
