Do I need to spend extra money on my MOBO?

Being in eu means you don't have to deal with asus (or any other manufacturer) directly - shop is responsible for your warranty, which is a minimum of 2 years by law. So that makes asus a much more appealing option... lol.
BS. Marketing BS. The "law" works like "first year WARRANTY then second year for claims". That SECOND "CLAIMS" year won't be like "warranty". Though, I've had good experience with some stuff. But, better it never happens, or happens in first year.

I bought an Asus TUF B550 m/atx board a couple of years ago. Oh my gosh. That board was a total POS. And I don't meant point of sale.

The board was just so cheaply made, it was a joke.

The board was DOA anyway.. I replaced it with a Strix.

Midrange Asus is like low end.. P8Z77-V lost contact with southbridge, no SATA for me.

Still boots though.. like that's helpful :rolleyes:
I've had some electric issue with B450M-A and some cheap PSU. Somehow the PSU has switched the damn board off lol. But, I did everything right, so not my problems. Got from warranty replaced both lol
