I have not tried this, but for you analogue users, you probably can reduce the power amp to minimal, and increase audio in PCM (digital) using E-APO (+20 dB) or similar.
Power based amps suck to be fair (Digital > DAC > Analogue > Power Amp | vs | Digital > Digital Amp > DAC), preferably use PCM.
Reminder analogue is power in a circuit, digital can have no power (example optical).
No such thing as lossless analogue, will never exist.

@ Realtek, here is the technology you should be using:
PowerDAC V2.1 | index (e1dashz.wixsite.com)
You should also consider adding dB detection, and not amp over a certain level.

With SPDIF-Optical at max volume (Windows) and Potplayer at maximum, I was able to do +28 dB using E-APO, although its max supported is +20 dB (software).

Anyone who is looking to disable the CAudioLimiter, I have attached a registry edit and required app to this post, here are the instructions.
Backup the current data (Regedit > edit > find > CAudioLimiter), right click the main key and export.
Use ExecTI to run Regedit, then import the .reg I have provided.
