Dying Light 2 Benchmark Test & Performance Analysis

Turing was way ahead of its time and aged admirably. It only loses ~5% more FPS than comparable new GPUs like 3080 if RT is activated. Tensor cores work well too.
Sometimes the first iterations can get it right. But it's still far too early to say RTRT will resemble Turing in 5-10 years.

I think we possibly have full RT games in 10 years, 5 years - way better RT than now at least. I already expect the new cards coming end of year to trivialize RT in current games and new games after that to utilize RT more, as both companies will have way more performance to lose for RT.

AMD RT performance are as usually poor. They are facing the consequences of that poor choice made with RDNA to skip RT entirely. Now they are one generation behind.

Only in a handful of games comparatively... that's if we're only talking RT perf.
DLSS has much the same con (as with FSR) only being proprietary...
Those pros in few outcomes aside, this is the first gen in an age where AMD have traded blows all the way up. Next gen things will get savage, this one was just the warm up.

What's the Sony OLED like?
I apologize for the delayed response. As for the this TV, its...ok. Its one of Sony's earlier OLEDS with a 60hz max. So for gaming I don't do to much on it as I'm in constant fear of burn-in. I haven't seen any retention or anything, however, it sits in the back of my mind. Colors and brightness are just meh. My other Sony TV with local dimming impresses me more than the OLED. Nor am I impressed with an image panning across the screen...still has that annoying jitter. Overall...I'd give it a B- if I had to grade.

I can't wait for Dell to release the Samsung panel later this year, I'm crossing my fingers for good reviews. Sadly, that model is only 1440p, but the rest of the specs are decent...well minus the price of $1,299.

I gave up on ray tracing in this game. It runs like crap. Low-medium settings, DLSS performance and it still drops below 60 FPS. And on top of that it hitches a lot. 10 GB of VRAM is maxed out in DX12 Ultimate, not sure if that is where the hitching comes from.

With RT off I have everything else maxed out (just fog on medium, as a precaution), DLSS quality and it runs like a dream. I do notice the visual difference in some places, but I will always take consistent performance over visual fidelity.
