Ok just got my limited edition Halo3 and my disc was also rattling around, but no scratches. After putting the disc back in its little plastic holder I can safely say that thing is not the problem. It holds it tight. I tried slamming it and slapping it a few times while it was in the holder and it doesn't budge at all. I'd the the real problem is that whoever was putting the disc in the case didn't put it in all the way. when you make sure its in there securely its not going anywhere. So they don't need new cases, just need to make the people packaging them make sure to put it in securely.
They probably were on the manufacturing lane just saying "THROW THEM IN THERE, IF MICROSOFT WANTS THIS MANY DISCS PRODUCED IN SUCH A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME THEN WE WILL GIVE IT TO THEM". lol seriously do you really think that they didnt rush with the manufacturing process in getting millions of copies out"?
They probably got close to producing more Halo 3 discs than the total number of PS3 blu-Ray disc games to date lol
