They could've made it better, but I mean its still like double the stock graphics, and it affects everything in the game. Not just trees or tabletops.

There are a couple of towns that have been redone, if thats what your after. I had the whiterun and solitude ones, they were good. But its only better in that town

Yeah i was hoping some one would of packed them all together lol.. But i guess it going be more like Arma \1\2 were people don't want there stuff added with other stuff because there after all the credit possible or what ever reason.

Finding the best texture packs, for the most part is the easiest part of modding Skyrim. You don't need to mess load orders, mostly just drag and drop and texture packs have the highest DL counts. It's the ESP mods that start to get tricky, though Skyrim seems to even handle those far better than previous games, I just loaded up almost 90 esp's, before I did that I moved like 5 around to a specific order, then I fired it up and have 0 problems, old games that probably would have been crash city.

Well, I've been tinkering with the new Realistic Lighting (3.4) for a while now. I decided to show the latest fruits of my labor. I'm using my tweaked Superb ENB 0.52, FXAA preset, Realistic Lighting 3.4, and the Imaginator. I'm pleased with the outcome even though I've spent more time tweaking than gaming :laugh:

There was a few beautiful Whiiteruns, I don't remember this ones exact name, but its the one I liked most, since its compatible with Open Cities, and then I used Sexy Whiterun over it, but then I opened some DDS files and made my own tweaks to some of the Sexy Whiterun colors. You'll have to give me a link to what one you are specifically talking about.

Yeah my whiterun isn't modded so it lacks those trees and probably why my houses look diff too. Nice touch though.

Yeah I had looked at that one, I liked it, but the fact that it wasn't Open Cities compatible was a bit of a draw back (even though I don't use that yet). Also I didn't go with that because Birch trees didn't really fit with the location, very few locations in Skyrims have Birch, all of the hills around Whiterun are pines. The one I'm running is basically the same as that, adds vegetation and such, but it just uses pines instead of Birch. And once walking through the town, I don't think I would switch back, the tall pines add nice shadows to the town as you walk through.

yeah I had a pine one, but i like all the added things with Beautiful Whiterun. benches, a lot of plants, colors and such. Makes it a nicer city. I also thought the mapple(birch trees) didnt seem to fit right, but after ive been playing with it. I love it.

Question Kurgan: Do you use followers?

Yeah barren Whiterun was just a bit too boring for me, so I changed it up, looks very nice now.

But like I said, I also changed up the DDS files for the wood in Whiterun, it was far too red for my tastes in vanilla Sexy Whiterun, I added a bit of brown to it, so if you end up liking my wood file I can upload that DDS. You should check into your color tweaks as well, your image looks extremely blue, I'm using just RCRN for all of my lighting and color tweaks and it looks amazing and no fps loss to be seen.

I've not added a small number of mods because of open cities... I really wish they had a working google style zoom map like they started with (the one that blew up in whiterun when you go from indoors to outdoors)...

Follower can be a PITA sometimes, but it's nice to have a little cannon fodder if you need it since they won't die from mob damage.
You just have to be careful as they like to run in front of you just as you're casting a spell of doom or other projectile type weapon.
I've had to reload a couple of times because Lydia thought it wise to eat a fireball when she was low on health. :laugh:
