It's a widespread principle throughout economies........ identify a potential growth market, jump in quick (take risk) and enjoy the reward if successful, take the hit if not (risk), personally I have no issues with it, arguably it's no different to an amateur looking for low level investment in a stock, buys low, ploughs all his spare cash into it, stock prices grow, makes some decent money, others take a look, stocks gone up, higher cost, less profit. I completely get the angst caused when someone is looking to replace a graphics card and has to pay significantly more but the risk taker should not be held to account IMO, the market should...... but then I am not looking to buy a new graphics card just yet so it's easy for me to say :D

My main point is that if miners care so much about the comments made they should try and get people to understand.

There is a pretty long mining thread on this page for people wanting to learn. If you don't care why bother complaining? Did a miner walk up to you punch you in the gut and take your gpu?

At prices they sell cards for now, certainly not.

At the store right now for the most part cards are at premining prices maybe $20-30 extra.

Pretty much just seeing more irrational miner hate forthcoming than actual attempts to fix the problem, sadly. People don't understand the issue and don't care to either, knee-jerk judgements are the call of the day.
But when someone tries to use a proper idea for crypto regulation, he's mocked for spreading "financial sh.t" on a gaming forum.
And when someone takes a moment to discus what crypto is and where its value comes from, he's met with typical "who cares? It's free money!".

And actually it's this "who cares? It's free money!" approach that is responsible for a large portion of crypto's issues...

So where do you stand, really? :)

I kinda understand you point as well but if you think about it, why do we still print paper or plastic money ?
Because a significant part of transaction is still in cash.
That said, a few countries have already planned killing cash, so it's pretty obvious that a cash-free future is quite near (at least for some of us). However, this has nothing to do with cryptocurrencies.

It's currency being in control by the people and not the corrupt federal reserve. That's the appeal.
So we're in the middle of a BTC split leaded by a fairly small group of huge mining farms, wallet companies and crypto exchanges. As a result millions of people had to cash their BTC because not even the institutions that designed the split know what will happen.
Do you feel in control?

End of mankind, dying cause drought and hunger, but with huge cash of non-existing currency. :D

One wise man said that you cant eat money, well.. not sure what he would say about eating money that per say dont even exist in material world. Not that regular money really do, but you know its kinda ironic. :D

I don't have a side. I just find it ironic that gamers pretend they were going to use these cards for anything productive. They weren't.

If you can't bother reading the same point reiterated multiple times I'll not bother continuing trying to explain.

Mining disrupts the market if you haven't figured it out already. Didn't I post this in another mining thread. This guy explains it all.

You have yet to make a real point.

Some like it some don't, most don't care.

You disliking or not understanding a point hardly makes it invalid. No need to worry though, this will be my last post on it here.

Why do people feel the need to announce their last post. Like the lacking "point" you attempted to make it is unneeded
