Ethernet not working after a little hardware change

What is the actual form factor of this mb?

Is this mini itx or something in between?

That is a small form factor (SFF) mainboard.

Gigabyte says micro ATX

Gigglebyte will say whatever they want.
The reality is you can take that board and fit it into a mATX case and even cram it into a SFF case, it will fit just fine.
A Micro-ATX board will fit a Micro-ATX case but you cannot take a Micro-ATX board and cram it into a SFF chassis.

Too bad, I needed a Mitx board(:

You could google the board model

its design is like of a MINI-ITX (some may call it MINI-ATX) due to the board size goes just far enough for the 16X PCIE slot and nothing under it. Along with only 2 RAM slots

But its overall dimension is a little bigger than the conventional Mini-ITX board. for ex 19cm = 7.5"

Idk why they call it Micro-ATX because Micro-ATX is bigger than this. maybe they cannot call it Mini-ITX due to that 19cm dimension, or even that extra .4cm

while for example, I have a ROG Strix B760-I Mini-ITX board, and its dimensions are exactly the standardized dimensions

I 2nd I would think it would fit in a SFF case assuming the overall dimensions fit where the motherboard goes into said SFF case.

Seems a lot cheaper and easier just to get an ethernet nic (or even a usb ethernet adapter) and give it a try. That would tell you what you needed to know pretty quick, or could be a solution until the whole system is ready to be replaced.
