I get better results tweaking the memory than the shader. If I go 5 mhz higher on the core magic things happen.. I mean REALLY magic things. Like 300 points higher magic, but it blue screens on the physics test.

Just so everyone knows, there is no waterblock that will fit the ftw. Thanks eVGA for using a non reference board for this one.

This is a reference card, just with an overclocked BIOS.

Are you sure its a custom PCB? I assume you found out the hard way?

yeah I did find out the hard way. there are three issues with the ftw that makes it not compatible with a 285 waterblock. For one, there is a capacitor near the back of the board that is in the way. Two, the ram is actually further away from the gpu. I was modifying a koolance block to fit when I found the third. The line of capacitators in between the ram and gpu is taller, and in trying to get enough clearance, I put a hole in the block where the water flows.
The card itself rocks, but I am going to find an alternative, something I can actually wc

How about just a GPU block? Then find some other means to cool the VRMs and memory.

Someone on here, disassembled the stock cooler on their card, fitted just the GPU block and had the original cooler to cool the memory and VRM
