Well, the 730i EVGA mobo allows the user to use only the Onboard, an Aftermarket Video card, or using the 8500GT or 8400GT/GS you can use both in this 'SLI boost' And it can give you up to 70% gain in Frames Per Second (FPS). On EVGA.com there is a link on the homepage about it, then a video that displays all the real facts about it. This video is all facts because false advertising is illegal and would get EVGA sued over something stupid, thus they wouldn't lie. Its a great board for someone looking to spend like 550-600USD (pending on when you read this) to be an entry-mid level gaming machine. Thats my .02 hope it clears some of the air.

Teaming on-board with an 84 or 8500 doesn't make a gaming system. A 70% gain from the on-board solution still results in poor gaming performance.

as said, onboard + 70% = 50% of an 8800GT, or less.

Seeing as most people don't need to play Crysis at 1440x900 All High then its perfectly fine for games... I know, the +70% is intended to mean over only the onboard..
