Extigy2 AE - Sound Blaster SBX Pro Studio effects for most sound devices

The Extigy2 AE software bundle was put together shortly after Creative shut down the Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 activation servers. Quite a few users were left without a way to to activate the software that they had purchased.

This bundle uses a newer Creative driver and control panel to correct some of the unfixed issues with Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 under Windows 10.

Currently, HDAUDIO and USB devices are supported. I'm open to trying to add others. Windows 10 is required due to some features missing from Windows 7 & 8 that are required by the configuration program.

Works just fine on my Asus laptop.
Will try it out on my Msi X570 pc.

This way i can use the official driver for the alc1168 audio chip that's on it

well this eventually work in enableing dolby digital live over maybe a usb to optical adapter? i got actual dolby digital working but would be cool to have system wide live encodeing and these enhancements the ones that come with dolby digital plus home theater arnt amazing

Using the official driver for the audio chip itself is definitely what this is aimed at. No need to mess around with modified drivers that are never quite right.

Also works on my x570 board, however the surround option does not do much..

Was hoping it would just do the same as my old XFi copying front speakers to the rear ones.

Looks more like a design choice in the drivers themselves...

Why can't Realtek just give us the proper option to use all speakers instead of just stereo for music playback.

That is the one feature I feel like it is missing too. It really shines at virtual 7.1. The Scout Mode and Crystalizer are nice too. I think I've exposed all of the options possible within the driver. Normally, this driver shipped with a demo app that had a few pre-configured gaming profiles and no other options.

It is very odd that your device passed the initial tests but didn't get displayed. Normally you'd see a numbered list of all compatible hardware.

Can you try running the following and let me know the output?

pnputil -enum-devices /connected /class "AudioEndpoint"

Also, which version of Windows is this on?

This driver is amazing, and it doesn't even replace the existing driver! I can use it on my Audigy Rx to get the best of both worlds—Not at the same time, of course.
I came on to thank you for this, and ask if you have access to any of their other drivers?

Sorry, I only wrote this with support for English. You would have to switch the language to English and then switch it back once configured.

I originally wrote this with Audigy 2 NX and X-Fi Xtreme Audio in mind. They both work fine on newer versions of Windows, but their effects are limited. Glad you are getting use of this on the Audigy Rx. I have most of their drivers from before they removed the downloads. I don't have any others that I've modified in this way though.

I only asked because the driver for the RX has the EAX studio. It's probably not worth all the work to try and pull that from the one and add it to this—that and I'm guessing it would work on very few sound cards.
