I'm not that guy so 100 FPS isn't that big of an issue, especially considering how often I play this game.
However, it's still very peculiar to put it mildly.
I have an RX 6700 XT, W10, 24.8.1 WHQL drivers (behaviour doesn't alter if I install other drivers, yet I didn't test anything older than those of April '23), the rest of my system is marked as "DLSS" in my SysSpecs.
I selected "vsync always off" and made my display run at 150 Hz (at 170, I have intermittent stutter issues, thanks AMD big time for your FLAWLESS work!) and no matter the other settings, the game is hard capped to 100 FPS. Or less, if I cap it to a lesser number manually. MSi Afterburner is the only 3rd party software possibly capable of wrongdoings but the behaviour remains the same sans it.
My only question is WHY.
