I received a NVIDIA CMP 50HX miner card, which is between a 2080 and 2080S, so I am counting on it to do at least 3 million PPD ( 2070S does that). Right now I have just a 1070. I am also waiting to receive a P102-100 which is the performance level of a 1080ti but with half the vram. So I will be doing around 6 million PPD. Electricity cost is not an issue.

The planned upgrade didn't go well, I couldn't install the mining card in my PC on the x4 slot as there was a USB 3.0 header there, connected to the front panel, MB is a GB B450 AORUS M, I had to move the 1070 on the T5810, which now won't close because the card is too tall.

It's a sad day today as I sold my 1070 and I embarked on the journey with the miner cards. So far the CMP 50HX performs under my expectations, it was detected by the FAH client just fine, but so far it does under 400k PPD, and the fan is a bit noisy at 56%, blower style. It didn't work either to install the modded drivers. I heard that the P102 cards are easier to work with.

Dang, that's pretty underwhelming. My RX 470 can pull those numbers.

I'll put it on the Precision workstation and install Linux. Thinking of buying a 2070S.
update : I got the 2070S. I left for a stroll through the city, the F@h client was saying the PPD would be like 2.4 mil for the 2070S. I had one last year that did consistently 3 mil PPD, this is an EVGA, the old one was an HP Omen.
