Change from any other to Free to play status on Steam kinda speaks to me that in most cases the game is marked as commercial fail, therefore not worth it.

I find F2P titles rarely interesting even if developed specifically to be F2P game, apart from Genshin Impact (let's skip gatcha mechanics big letdown rant, I got some of the best chars in the first pulls, but suck badly on weapons pulls).
I would create a Steam survey to explore how many added freebie/-100% deals games are actually installed and tried, yet played and finished. The results wouldn't align with the corpo-marketing naration, let's fill another hardware survey instead.
