It may have been me. I've mentioned Heroic a few times. It's a must-have on Linux for me, and a good replacement for the Epic Games Store on Windows too.

This game runs like ... well really badly. Ark: Survival Evolved looks much better and I can run that maxed out at 4K without a sweat, but this game? 40fps. It looks like I game I should be able to run without the fans ramping up (what with a 6950xt and all), but I have to turn off shadows and turn down a bunch of settings for that to happen.

Same here. I have Bioshock Remastered on GOG which I'd forgotten about and DOOM Eternal on Steam, with many other free games that I haven't even looked at.
