FrozenCPU Rises from the Dead

I ordered from them in October. They still had all my old info. Great news for a company I could always trust.

I got a nice deal on a Cooler Master Wave Master TAC-T01-EK from the FrozenCPU eBay store back in 2006! I didn't know they shut down. Their site was always a good place for tech parts research and reference back then. Glad to hear they are back again. That Wave Master (slightly modded) is still going strong as my 24/7 rig 10 years later!

Perhaps they will be kind enough to return the money to their clients that paid for product but never received it. I know I'd like to have my money back and it's disgusting that I can't even get them to return an email.

Interesting.

I am local to them, and have bought from them from time to time especially when making new builds - I was a walk-in customer. One time, I bought some things from them that did not fit, and I wanted to return them. Even though what I bought from them was in as new condition and their policy on the web site said that returns were accepted, they insisted on giving me store credit that had an expiration date of about a month or so. Needless to say, I was not happy about this. The person who authorized the return was, I believe, the owner.

I get that a company has to make money, and I get that there are some out there who exploit return policies. The thing is, though, I personally think that a company should stick with their policies and not modify them on a per-customer basis unless, perhaps, that customer is known to have a history of abusing the policies of the company. My experience was before they fired the staff, and in fact, they were booming as they had about a half-dozen apparently high-school aged kids making fan power extenders several times when I went there - in addition to a significant number of other staff.

I bought from them a couple of months ago, and there was virtually no-one there when I walked in.

That said, I personally think it is not at all good business policy to stiff customers and not make up for it. I am sorry to hear of your experience, and I will probably consider going elsewhere the next time I do a build. Your experience combined with mine sound, to me at least, like the kind of experience one might expect from an addictive personality. Customers, and treating your customers fairly, should always be the top priority of a company, IMO.

I didn't shop at FrozenCPU often, but I did use them to find real specialty parts and mods for custom builds. Although their prices were sometimes a little high (not always, somethings were comparable to Newegg), they just had stuff you couldn't easily get anywhere else.

Well, if the prices are right... why not. But this is pretty OFN... i thought it reopened shortly after as well.

Respect and talk to all countries on an equal base. Don't feed us US news as if it were "our" news! Nuf said.
lol...wow. its news for all. We get news for stuff that doesnt happen here and you dont hear anyone complaining... wtf?? Go to ocuk if you dont care to see a more worldly view. Wow.

I'm also a walk in customer for Frozen CPU and thats where I bought my VapoChill and many other odds and ends, I have heard and spoke to the same sort of folks as OneMoar has and heard the same sort of things. I did watch the business go from what appeared to be pretty darn professional to WTH does a High School kid own and run this place to the doors being perma LOCKED...... Well its good to know things have turned around for them and hope they hold to a higher path. It would be nice to be compensated for goods not received but I bet he filed bankruptcy (i don't know for sure) and there will be no compensation.

just ordered something off of newegg only to stumble across it being a 3rd party seller which is frozencpu, so now stumbling into all the stuff from 2015 and seeing stuff from 18 that they had reopened but nothing for late 18 or yet in 19 im starting to get a little paranoid about the item I bought through newegg. anyone actually buy anything from fcpu or through newegg, amazon, or ebay where the seller is frozencpu? have they turned things around our should I remain worried and take steps to cancel purchase and get my money bake into my bank account?

Just out of interest, What is the best water cooling supply website in the UK?
