G.Skill sent us a little surprise, in a 32 GB package. The G.Skill RipjawsX F3-2133C9Q-32GXH kit not only offers huge capacity and speed, but also a little something extra. Intended for P67/Z68, the GSkill F3-2133C9Q-32GXH maxes out the speed, but also the size those platforms offer.

Nice Dave. What do you think about two of these sets in X79?

Hard to say. Because I can run 2133 MHz without any IMC voltage increases, chances seem very good at getting 64 GB working, but because of the issues cold-booting on X79 with the tighter XMP profile, I have a hard time just saying "YES!".

G.SKill did show a 64 GB kit @ 2600 on X79:

note the votlages used, and what seems to be LN2 cooling.

Which i think is this kit:

I think that for 64 GB, those are the modules to run, but note that they are only certified for a specific ASUS motherboard, and there is no 64 GB 2133 MHz kit yet.

I guess I ask for that(64 GB) next.

;)

This kit might be more affordable:

There are also similar 2133 MHz 32 GB 9-11-11-31 kits in RipjawsZ and Ares product lines.

Thats a beastly IMC to do that 2600Mhz... (and a great clocker to boot as they are associated).

Nice review per usual Cad. :)

1.35 V VTT and IMC, LN2 1.75 V vDIMM...meh.

Seriously though, that IS pretty killer. Must be Rampage Extreme board too, I think. THe board I use doesn't have all the same clocking options, unfortunately.

tighten that final value down in the timing dept and should be good. This kit will work on AM3/AM3+ that support 32+ GB ram

Have you found low pll to have any effect on memory clocking? Been running 1.65v for awhile and wondered if that's holding me back.

Great review Cad!:toast:

And it looks like G.Skill has pumped out yet another fantastic memory kit.

I hope you get your hands on one of those 64 GB kits, it would be interesting to see how they compare.

Yet another terrific in depth review. Good job and thanks!

I think so too. I got 4, 8 ,16, 32 GB G.SKill kits and 64 GB is the next logical step.

However, at the same time, Z77 is about to launch, so I think perhaps the next will be a kit for that platform.

this is awesome, after some busy time at work now i see this after reading this i can finally complete my build
