GeIL (Golden Emperor International Ltd.), one of the world's leading PC components and peripheral manufacturers, has announced a partnership with ASRock to expand their gaming product line and launch the EVO SPEAR Phantom Gaming Edition Memory. This new memory module delivers the hardcore gaming experience gamers and enthusiasts demand for their SFF (small form factor) systems.

The all-new EVO SPEAR Phantom Gaming Edition Memory is fully compatible with ASRock Phantom Gaming motherboards, including the latest Z390 Phantom Gaming X, Z390 Phantom Gaming 7 and X399 Phantom Gaming 6. It is available as single modules and kits up to 64GB and runs as low as 1.2V and at max 1.35V, thereby resulting in less power consumption and higher reliability. Featuring a stylish and stealthy standard-height heat spreader, EVO SPEAR Phantom Gaming Edition Memory can be used in most case designs especially the SFF (small form factor) systems and full-sized gaming PCs. It's ideal for gamers, enthusiasts, and case modders looking to maximize gaming performance with minimum investment.

According to Jennifer Huang, Vice President at GeIL, "We are thrilled to launch the EVO SPEAR Phantom Gaming Edition Memory. It meets ASRock's validation beyond industry standards and offers a cost-efficient upgrade for faster gaming, video editing, and 3D rendering. Gamers and enthusiasts no longer need to compromise on case design."

"We are excited to have GeIL joining the Phantom Gaming Alliance to expand the product portfolio of Phantom Gaming Edition Memory, "said Chris Lee, General Manager of ASRock Motherboard & Gaming Peripherals BU. "The alliance also advances the existing collaborations we have in supporting the gaming community worldwide."

The EVO Spear Phantom Gaming Edition Memory is available in frequencies 2400MHz to 3200MHz and is fully compatible with ASRock Phantom Gaming Motherboards.

Interesting. A new memory option for my upcoming HTPC upgrade. Nice to have something beyond Corsair LPX and G.Skill Ares to choose from, particularly with the Ryzen optimization. Still, with the focus on SFF and collaboration with ASRock I was kind of expecting SO-DIMM.

I can't believe we're now getting "SFF" modules which are basically the standard size without pointless "gaming" plastic.
Sad times.

Also, why is there a Ryzen logo on the module?

For the love of god, what is this ugly shit plastic? who thought that this was a good idea? are they blind ? no taste in simplet looks? dumbass people in marketing? Gezzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Just make it completly black or some other color , we dont need all this EXTRA GAMING SUPER BLALALALALALA.............

That logo is supposed to tell you that the advertised clocks and timings are guaranteed to work on an AMD Ryzen machine.

You seem to need glasses... It's just a sticker.

They look great, pity the speeds are so limited.

3200....pfff...... thats so 2016-ish, give us moar suppeeed, you know that we know that you know that we all want it, so just give it up for cryin out lood :D

and yea, lose all the stupido stickers, plastik, & gamin sh*tzu already !

I'm really liking the simplicity of the heat spreader. Just like in the old days.

To keep the brand style I have to resort to Dutch

Hier word ik nou niet echt geil van...

Too bad they had to put a sticker over it...

Shouldn't this be in the datasheet? On the box?

Are clocks and timings guaranteed to work with Intel's and other AMD's CPUs?

In fact: how am I expected to know that it means clocks and timings are guaranteed, not that they match Ryzen stock fan colour scheme? :/

Basically, they've added a sticker that will make people with minimalist systems think: meh. I'm not sure about the Intel crowd.
Weird business decision...
