Thermal Solutions specialist GELID Solutions has upgraded its multi-winning "Slim Silence AM2" to "Slim Silence A-Plus" which is compatible to all updated socket of AMD.

With a compact heatsink design for Mini ITX, Micro ATX, ATX, HTPC, Panel PC, Car PC and 1U server the "Slim Silence A-Plus" contains two power heatpipes and a silent fan with PWM function. The high performance heatpipes ensure a fast and efficient heat transfer from core to aluminum fins. The frameless silent fan includes a ball bearing and a GELID intelligent PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control which ensures a silent operation at low CPU temperature and accelerates the fan speed when necessary.

The "Slim Silence A-Plus" is compatible to AMD's AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+ and FM1 socket and can support CPU thermal design power (TDP) up to 95W with a good case ventilation.

This product is RoHS and WEEE conform and has a warranty of 5 years.

"Small Form Factor PC's are trendy nowadays. At the same time performance and speed are required from a small and hot case. Therefore you need to have a reliable, silent, small but still powerful cooler," said VC Tran Marketing Director of GELID Solutions Ltd.

The "Slim Silence A-Plus" is now available for a MSRP of USD 24.99 / Euro 19.99.

Not bad, pity it doesn't support Intel sockets. Wouldn't mind seeing heatsinks like this to try out a vapor chamber design like the GTX 580 and Sapphire Vapor-X series, be interesting to see the results.

Damn, for that price I could completely ignore how loud that thing might be. A must for ITX builds.

Makes no sense. Look it up at stores.

Kinda wished it was copper :/
Me too, but it would make it cost 3 times more. :\
I would still buy it, if it was considerably more efficient at cooling the chip.

why is this posted twice?

Do your research before jumping on this bandwagon...:).

Best,
