Fresh out of boot camp, Gigabyte's latest platoon of gaming warfighters is here in the TPU motherboard testing facility, ready for battle. The Gigabyte G1.Sniper M3 is a tiny mATX gaming fighter, armed with Gigabyte's own Super Hearing, Super Sight, Super Speed, and Super Sheild.

so.....while everyone else is doing Reviews we only get Previews at tpu? Not saying you did a bad job because the Preview was excellent,i just think Previews take away from your Review :)

Yes, only a preview. Was actually done before the launch of the CPU, and Gigabyte got me the board early last week. I "handed it in" after the launch though, and other reviews already planned left it until today.

Still lots to cover: BIOS, software, performance, and overclocking.

I have no 1155 CPUs though, so no review is possible at this time.:banghead: However, we did have a user asking about the board as well as a few others, so I got up what I could ASAP. ;)

I dunno. Ask Intel? 1-800-628-8686....
you had a 1155 before didnt you? Oh well don't matter, was looking for some clocking on this mobo. I be in the market for Z77 or Z79 mobo. Not sure yet what to get.

Looks good....

just a FYI... Typo on the spex... someone put ATX under form factor... clearly a mATX board ;)

Thanks for clearing that up, did I miss it at the begining of the review? If not, definately should add.

Great job Dave.

Great job Dave.

It already is. ;)

we've got another board preview before we retreat into the bunker to torture and interrogate Intel's latest

Actual timing as to when I got stuff, and when the review published, is not needed. It's technically already here in the forums too, as I always post a pic of the stuff I get the day I get it, in one form or another.

And frankly, if I had a chip for the board, there'd be more than a preview. Just sayin'. No need to state the obvious, IMHO, but here ya guys are asking, so here I go explainin'. Next I'll start directing you to W1zz for answers.

will you be re-visiting this one when you get a 1155 chip again, this is the one board I was interested in the z77 range until I saw the pcie slot arrangement :banghead:

your preview's actually got me interested again
