Did you make sure none of those pins were your 6th ram slot is are not touching one another? The real question here is why you would buy a board with clearly visible damage to it. It's obvious at that point the previous owner abused that board maybe in more ways than just a missing ram slot.

I was found in a storage. Did not buy it and the ram pins are not touching each other.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
Like as they cannot be touched? It seems wierd that they are the only ones with irregular surface. I only have one ram but i will try.

What are their function? Do you know?

Yeah, pretty much. The chips are not too hard to replace for someone like me who has the tools to do it. But who knows if that's all that's wrong with it, NB could be dead even and you wouldn't be able to figure that out until you replaced the critical bad parts.

*Grabs popcorn...I wish you good luck! Keep us posted! :)

Though how do you plan on getting the larger chips with all the legs off and on PROPERLY? Do you have the proper tools for this activity?

It should be,
IT8275E
xxxx-BXG

At least that's what's on my X58A-OC, I'd thank that most of the chips they use are the same across all models of X58 boards.
It shouldn't really matter as long as it's an IT8275E, they'll all be the same.

Have you looked for reviews of the board? They may have high res pic... or the website?
