Until NVIDIA rolls out Ampere-based Quadro products, the closest thing to a "professional" graphics card on this architecture has to be the new GeForce RTX 3080 VISION OC by GIGABYTE. The VISION brand by GIGABYTE is targeted at creators, and the company wagers it can sell the RTX 3080 to this market, hoping they get the hint to pair it with NVIDIA's Studio drivers. The RTX 3080 VISION OC combines a black PCB with a mostly-white cooling solution that's characteristic of the VISION design scheme, along with some brushed aluminium accents.

The top of the card features a large silicone ARGB diffuser that lights up in any color or transitions of color. The triple-slot, triple-fan cooler uses multiple aluminium fin-stacks skewered by six 6 mm-thick copper heat pipes that pull heat over a copper base-plate. The cooler is longer than the PCB, so GIGABYTE punched holes through the back-plate to let airflow form the third fan through. GIGABYTE ships the card with a yet-unspecified factory-overclock. The card draws power from two 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Display outputs include two HDMI 2.1 and three DisplayPort 1.4a connectors. The card is 32 cm long and 12.6 mm tall, and needs three slots in your system. The company didn't reveal pricing.

What's makes it for "professionals" besides the white and rgb? I don't get it. Anyone can install studio drivers. In reality 10gb is not enough vram since we're talking about professional use cases here, doh.

I didn't like Gigabyte's other 3080 designs...but this....hngggg. Might be my next graphics card if it's quiet.

Yeah, they look too plain and.. boxy? to me.
Anyway regardless of the creator tag, i doubt any serious pro would buy a 10gig card.

If the price is right, I definitely buy this card, don't need to look up the benchmark scores.

For benchmarks scores not to matter, the price better be REALLY right.

The card draws power from two 8-pin PCIe power connectors.

GIGABYTE did what nvidia did with 1060 and 2060 FE, extend the power connectors under the shroud in the most ludicrous way possible, because the PCB is short.

Now this is a great design Gigabyte, your other 3080 ones, not so much, I'd get this if it would fit into my itx system.

Personally, I love the look of this card, reminds me of the Radeon VII which I thought looked incredible... Nice and simple, brushed metal... No ridiculous fascia.... Why is it that everything has to be black on gaming PCs? Reminds of the ridiculous ugliness of red and black everything a few years ago

This "creator" train is rediculous. I can't see anything on this or other "creator" products like motherboards that make it different than standard "gamer" products. I guess it's hip and trendy to be a "creator" now. Gamer is so last decade...

Yep, lost all interest when I seen 10gb, don't care how good it is. Just going to hold till AMD puts out its offer.

Gigabyte really need to stop putting these slogans on their cards, it ruins their look :(

Just ordered the card for A$1469:)

I think they don't know the difference between creator and influencer.

3080 vs 2080ti
Double the CUDA cores
Faster memory
30% node shrink.

How is this not MUCH MUCH faster?

Is that a purple bar on the GPU or is it some kind of light? I'd rather it just white.
