The GMC H-80 manages to impress with its cool and elaborate looks along with the gun metal gray choice of color. Inside are four fans, two of them with menacing red LEDs - including the big 250 mm one in the side. We tear the beast apart to see if it manages to impress or turn out to be a timid creature.

I love GMC's cases. Had the H-70 . I used it till I sold my entire system and switched to laptop...

I have to say, I am rather impressed with this smaller than normal mid tower case. Looks like something Id get for my nephew. Glad to see that 120mm Tower type coolers can be used.

I never even heard of GMC cases:o But I have to say it looks nice!

On page 3 you say the case has a 200mm side fan, but on pages 4 and 6 you specifiy 250mm - which is correct?

Paragraph 3 of page 4 has a repeated "the": "Considering the fact that the top 5.25 inch one is not accessible from the the outside anyways makes it a good alternative choice for a hard drive."

Also I'm surprised you didn't mention that the PCI slot covers are only painted on one side; looking at the case from the back, the shiny bare metal really clashes with the dull gunmetal gray.

Finally, where did you hook in the thermal diode? It's certainly a nice touch but I don't see it being particularly useful.

I like it a lot

This case is very well designed and would be extremely competitive at $80...
I hope that black interiors, bottom mounted PSUs, CPU gaps in the mobo tray, and space for cable management become industry standards. However, All performance cases should be designed to fit 120 mm coolers...taking off the 250mm side fan to fit a dark knight would be a painful loss...

Looks like it's a decent case, really reminds me of the HAF lineup though, which isn't a bad thing. Nice that it comes fully painted too.

A flood of plastics...
And who hell would put a thermal diode, regardless of its shape and size, between the cooler and IHS/chip?

Very nice indeed.

Reviewers can't be asked to review sub par products?

just a thought i had. you don't know a product is sub-par until after you review it, right? is it coincidence that every product TPU gets is great?

Ask W1z whether he asks for good things to review or Darksaber thinks everything is good.
