God of War Ragnarök Mod Removes PSN Account Requirement After Review Bombs Tank Steam Rating

Really encouraging to go to piratebay to get those Sony games once they are cracked. Get you shit together Sony and dont fuck it up with PSN account requirements.
Ah yes, a society where when we don’t get the things we want, precisely on our terms, we just steal it. That just encourages the “free to play with microtransaction level-ups” model that we all hate. While review-bombing is far from ideal, it did inspire change. Ideally people just don’t buy it, but few seem willing to draw that hard of a line.

Won't buy it. Primarily because I cannot.
Just from the evil side I am hoping Sony will take up enforcing regional limitations with the same conviction on consoles as well. That'd be fun.

I love God of War, but I'm not gonna buy Ragnarök until either the PSN requirement is removed, or it's on a massive discount. I'm not paying full price for a game that requires me to make an online account that I have no intention of using otherwise.

So where were all these people for the Rockstar games?
They don't release the same microtransaction storefront every year with a game tacked onto it while expecting people full price for the priveledge. They also don't tend to do silly things like prey on FoMo, pay for progress, or tactics that kind of forces the player spend money e.g. you can pointlessly grind for an insane amount of hours for this thing that is a 1 time comsumable or has a barely useful duration or dmount time or you swipe that CC for a useful duration or perma version of the thing, along with some sweet sweet instant gratification.

really if sony only sells the game in only 60 PSN compatible countries they dont need to wonder why the rest of the world leaches the game thru other means

As soon as I saw the PSN requirement...
