I believe the H70 and a lot of asetek newer stuff are much more reliable in the pump regard, which is pretty much the only failure point I've seen and I haven't even seen that very often with H50s.

Well if he's really attached to water I don't see a better easy option unless the H60 (coolit) has better parts.

Yeah some of those NECs now support professional Kodak Color Proofing calibration systems in addition to having their own. Used to be primarily Eizo. I can check what 30" models we just bought. Not that this person needs to get that sophisticated but they're great all around.
