very nice! i got the game about a year ago, been playing nothing but online lol. great game! rockstar have been releasing free DLCs all the time. i think the next event is the valentines day massacre where they'll be releasing a gangster cars and the Chicago typewriter

I played GTA5 for a while , and while amazed by the attention to detail, the story is bland and gameplay unchallenging, and i plan to uninstall it.Before i do that is there anything interesting left to do in Single player ?
( I avoid Multiplayer like the plague since its filled mostly with soulless, evil ghouls )

I cant get enough of mortal combat x myself. ok story and the online play is awesome once you get good enough to beat the story. well worth the money if you ask me.

Depends how far you are into the game. I'm about 6 hours in still like it but dont play all the time, still be nice to finish it tho. I've played multiplayer for about 5 mins.
I'm on street fighter v for a break from gta.

Multiplayer is pretty fun IMO, though if I go back to it I want a crew to play with. I'm leaving it installed for when I get a VR headset. Can't wait for that. Otherwise, it's fun to just go around and blow shit up some of the time honestly. I liked the story, not nearly as good at GTA IV but it was fun to play through.

Reason I ask is because when TPU upgraded the benchmark system to W10, these Nvidia cards (and maybe others) had serious problems in a few games, and GTA5 was one of them.

For example, this is a GTX 960 in GTA5 on the old system. 42.6fps at 1080p:

And here it is on the new W10 one. 11.6fps:

Wizzard confirmed that it wasn't a typo and that is in fact what he got, but I still can't find any place else on the internet that mentions it. And if this was a common problem, wouldn't there be a lot of bitching?

^I think regardless whether it's actual performance, that has to be just a matter of the W10 compatible drivers needing further tweaking for those specific GPUs.

Just realized that the 2GB AMD cards suffered a hit in W10 too, though not to nearly as great a degree. The 3GB+ cards are about the same on both systems, small +-.

This is very likely just a quirk of TPU's system (else why hasn't it showed up anywhere else?), and Wizzard may have fixed it by now for all I know, and just hasn't bothered to update old charts. Tedious work for sure.

The only reason I care is because I consider TPU's performance summary charts the gold standard for comparison, and that chart has these weird results averaged in.

New Features/Updates – PS4, Xbox One & PC

• Ghosted to Player

Ghosted to Player is a new option on the Wasted screen that appears under the following criteria:

• Player X kills you 3 times within 5 minutes.
• You have not damaged Player X during those 3 kills.

This option can be found alongside the Respawn, Passive and One on One Deathmatch options and is triggered via R1/RB and displays as “Go Ghosted to Player X”. Once this option has been selected, you and Player X will be ghosted to each other and each other only for two minutes.

• Contact Mission Unlock Update

The Contact Mission unlock system has been updated. Players now have two ways in which Contact Missions can be unlocked to allow for direct launching from the start menu:

• Reach the requisite rank for the Mission (This unlocks the Mission for that character slot only).
• Play the Mission via an invite (This unlocks the Mission for the whole profile).
• Ammu-Nation Wall Re-Organization

Melee, Pistols and Throwable DLC Weapons have been moved from the DLC wall to appropriate cabinets.

• The ‘No Shoes’ option is now available in wardrobes.
• Players can now launch VIP Work and VIP Challenges when on the deck of their Yacht.
• Mouse support for the ‘Move Yacht’ menu has been added.
• A free retry has been set up for moving the Yacht when your chosen destination is full. If your Yacht fails to sail to the chosen destination and you’re placed nearby, you will be allowed to sail back there for free when a space becomes available as long as you don’t sail anywhere else.

At least I found Jesus (literally) who dropped $15m at me.

The exact reason why I have never, and will not ever play GTA Online.... 800 hours.... all Modded SP fun. (Im sure a decent amount of those hours are AFK hours)

I reinstalled the game and started playing just a little again, instead of replacing tons of cars with the in game cars, I am sticking to strictly Add-On cars only. Tweaking handling data for cars to handle somewhat correctly, and dealing with bugs relating to tuning parts on these unfinished replacement models is a headache and a half....

With that being said, I have not gotten any game crashing errors as of recently, as with before, I was getting them quite often. Luckily I backed up my SP files a few days ago...

I just don't understand how Rockstar can just do nothing with Single Player mode.... The original life of the game was always based on the immersion of the SP gameplay.... GTA San Andreas had so much going on in the world.... It makes GTA5 look like it has nearly nothing.(for SP)

I am of the same opinion too. nothing wrong with multi, but for Me, personally, and several others i know, Single player, with a Co-Op function would be the best, or an increased storyline length
