I use 4xMSAA with FXAA at the moment on 1080p v-sync 60fps (tried other options but it made it look worse).

Yes and that looks very good. Now, if you switch to 1440p you could have better image quality even with 2x msaa and go high fps instead. But if you don't want it you should go for 1440p gsync Ips 60-75hz and play with 4x msaa. Also I don't know if you're using it, but never use TXAA, it's not really good.

I just can't buy any monitor out there, I'm on a budget.

I like the Asus and the Acer. I think the Asus is a great compromise between screen size and frequency. Oh well gsync is surely not a must as long as you keep having a strong gpu to power vsync.

Yes, I think it's a great compromise. I think 23" is too small - I'm using 27" monitor atm and it's nice to have a big screen.

What is the deal with those sparrow tattoos I always see ? I noticed your strange transvestite character has one too or whatever bird it is I've seen them in real life as well several times they seem kind of strange to me but clearly there's a point I'm not getting maybe at some millennial thing what is it ?

"Over the years, Rockstar has been very dedicated about bringing in more and more regular content to Grand Theft Auto Online, the standalone edition to GTA V.

On the other hand, the single player segment hasn’t witnessed a single DLC release since the game launched. Rockstar had gone on record that it would be releasing singleplayer content for the game. That was back in 2013.

To make matters even worse, a new rumor suggests that Grand Theft Auto V’s story DLC has been discarded entirely in a move to bring more content to another popular element of the game.

And yes, we did say completely which means there won’t be any Single player DLC for the game, ever. And the reason isn’t fair as well.

Rockstar has cancelled all its plans to make any kind of Single player DLC for GTA V in order to focus completely on making its standalone online component called GTA Online better."

That's life, you can't have anything you wish for. Still, the game has free DLCs and you can only be thankful for that. If you compare it to BF1 or other Battlefields, or Call of Duty the policy is a lot, lot better. That said, I don't miss SP GTA, I play the game to be in contact with other players and not alone, and they can do any kind of story in the Multiplayer game as well, just that you can't use SP character to play them, that's it. But in part they are in there anyway, first of all Trevor in a few missions.

Happy once again!!

GTA V was running very laggy on my gaming laptop, I didn't use it for gaming much anymore since I have a desktop now.

What I did:

Removed GTA V from RTSS and added again, reinstalled the 350.xx GTA V driver, trimmed the SSD's, turned vsync on-half-off again in GTA V.

Only the FPS counter from steam isn't showing in GTA V for some reason, using RTSS fps counter does work, getting a steady 40fps again with my settings!

From sloppy gameplay to pretty good enjoyable gameplay again!



If anyone knows how to get the steam fps counter to show up in GTA V again, please comment!
When I startup GTA V the steam fps counter shows up on the social club windows, but when the actual game starts I have no steam fps counter anymore...

The Steam overlay is set to on in all settings but it only works in the Social Club windows and not in the main game..
I'm using RTSS to lock the fps to a stable 40fps on my laptop, have figured out how to use that RTSS fps counter, using that one now for GTA V on my laptop.

Don't get me wrong! I love the game!
Yeah sure I enjoy it!! It's just my cars are getting totaled when driving/hit something and I can die now.....
I just love playing SP mode with Blade's Trainer
