The next title in the smash hit game franchise Grand Theft Auto, GTA V is coming in Spring 2013 after all, according to a leaked European pre-order poster for stores. The poster shows some concept art of the game, and a pre-order notice. The fact that the poster is leaked, in Europe no less, shows that pre-orders should open shortly. An unsettling development is that the posters only feature Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 logos, with no "PC DVD-ROM" logos. This indicates that the game's console versions could launch ahead of the PC version, perhaps even months ahead - just like its predecessor.

No PC at launch would make me a very sad panda...

I wont be surprised if its out on consoles first, that's where the game developers get most of their income, from the console market.

What sucks the most is that PC users gave developers opportunity to even expand GTA series to what they are now. And then they push us in the shit and butt rape us with console exclusives and consolized crap ports. Freakin bastards. And if you look closely, all the successful franchises went this way. GTA was first on PC and they consolized it. NFS series, the same. ANd then they wonder why they don't get much income from PC segment. No shit Sherlock, if sales were hurt due to piracy, there is no need to screw up those who would still want to buy and support developers on PC platform. But instead they get some half ass broken console ports. No wonder they don't want to buy that either. Woudl you buy a turd instead of a proper product? I think not.

Want to know the supreme irony? GTA V for Xbox 360 is coded on...a Windows PC. *ba dum tss*

PC will be lucky if it gets GTA5 at all. No Red Dead Redemption, but we got LA Noire.

To hell with Rockstar.

Have to agree with RejZoR. Building something around a consoles limitations is the biggest mistake any game developer can make. The PC crowd has some common sense to not buy these console ports. I invested 5 times more into my PC than what a console would cost so is it really a suprise im not going to buy a game thats spent 5 times less time and money to make?

So another console port ready to intoxicate the PC gaming....

Btw, I still don't get only this bullshit crap with "we develop for consoles because of piracy on PC.." Oh really?!? Last time I've checked the PS3 and Xbox games were pirated like hell, even more peers than the PC alternatives. So please cut this crap and just admit you are lazy and incompetents to deliver a proper PC game...

No Ports, No DRM, No BS = Sold

In before thread cooks itself into a debate on piracy. :p

Nice poster but I will skip GTAV if it comes to PC in as terrible a port as IV was (on top of the DRM and other "goodies" (/sarcasm) along with it :banghead: ).

Well, it is official, 360 and PS3 only at launch...

Today, we're proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto V is expected to launch worldwide spring 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V takes place in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California in the largest and most thriving game-world we have ever created set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and for miles beyond – from the tops of the mountains to the depths of the ocean.

Starting next week November 5, 2012, Grand Theft Auto V will become available for pre-order everywhere and fans can expect a host of new information to become available in November.

Look for downloadable desktop versions of the brand new artwork above coming very soon.
