You can live in your little world. I don't go by 3Dmarks and never will and I'm not the only one to think that.

Whatever, it was you, not me who brought up the issue of why they ran 3DMark in Vista, not XP.You can live in your little world. I don't go by 3Dmarks and never will and I'm not the only one to think that.
Cinebench isn't technically any different from 3DMark. It's just another synthetic benchmark.agreed i like cinebench for me to decide which is the best

How can you come up with such a conclusion when it's at the beginning of the benchmark loop? You forget to notice that in the picture, the 3870's average is 1.16, but in the benchmark it says the lowest is 9 something. So, either the test is still screwy with the 3870s, or you should admit this guy cheated some #s. I just want accuracy, I'm not a fanboy, I get the better card, but if this guy is going to cheat #s, I don't want to be disappointed when I get this thing to find out it would have lost had the test results been fair.

Are these benchmarks done on a board that has pci-e 2.0? They may have a AMD 790 board or what not, but I don't see that anywhere. I see in their CCC pics. it says the bus type is pci-e 2.0, but then it says current bus setting is pci-e 2.0 x8. Does this mean the pci-e bus is not at the full 2.0 speed? If so the benches will surly increase on the new boards these cards are built for.

Unless you are talking about a completely different benchmark? If it was towards the end of the benchmark an average could be obtained. I could see cause for concern but in that photo the benchmark just started. Why would you expect to see a calculated average in the dos pic confirming frame rates at the beginning of a benchmark loop? :shadedshu
