Good to see proper patch notes like this. It's extremely annoying to check game or software patch notes and they're just "We fixed a few bugs, teehee ;)" It's absolutely juvenile.

When this wall of text is not an internal document of things that got fixed during beta testing, but rather the post-launch patch notes, I'd much rather call it a "wall of shame"...

Hogwarts Legacy has surpassed one billion dollars in sales despite the numerous bugs which I presume the bulk of which have been patched. The game is Warner Bros largest release of all time.

Because marketing has trained the public well. They simply know they must purchase a title on day 1, because of all the marketing and sponsored press articles. The days when you would buy a game because it was good are long gone.

from all the reviews I saw, Hogwarts Legacy is pretty good though, especially for people in their 30's and 40's who remember reading Harry Potter as a kid/teen

So what? If I pick it up this Christmas, do we figure it will be worse?

I mean, when I got Wolfenstein, Wing Commander or the first Tomb Raider, I got them because friends were telling or showing me how good those games were. (NB Tomb Raider already had some hefty marketing attached, I was just unaware of that at the time.)

You have never read patch notes and now that they appear in a news article for a game you dont even necessarily play, you do? Or do you mean the sheer number is worth posting as a statement?

Ive seen lists like this many many times. Take your average WoW patch notes and compare... The thing that makes this one unique is mostly the severity of several of these bugs.
As a WoW player who has to dive through constant patch notes, this is not a fair comparison. WoW's patch notes usually consist of character balancing or hell a whole new "Season" like 10.1 which was recently introduced. While this patch list was for nothing new, but a list for fixes for things that were suppose to work in the original form of the game.

Swap your steam region to Argentina and you will buy games which costs in EU 20 or more under 1euro in Argentina market. :). P.S. Don't tell this to other.
i'm in Argentina hahahaha, jokes on you (sad for me ahah).
And i think steam plugged that hole sometime ago due to that exploit if they discover your account region-hoping you get your account permabanned. I think they use geofencing and financial history to determine if it's a valid swap.

Also, thank to so many people doing that scam region change, steam raised the regional prices significantly and now i'm sure the sales here have gone down a lot.
