An MSI "Ruan Mei" special edition GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X model has been teased by hongxing2020 on social media—it is not clear whether this is an intentional leak, given the formal office setting photographed in the background. Seemingly finalized retail packaging, heavily updated shroud plus backplate designs, and bundled poster and mousepad merchandise are emblazoned with a 5-star rated Honkai: Star Rail character. As noted by VideoCardz, the web link displayed on MSI's accompanying poster would indicate that the special green and gold special SUPRIM X model is destined for the Chinese PC hardware market—where miHoYo's Honkai games franchise is super popular.

The MSI GeForce RTX 4090 SUPRIM X "Ruan Mei" special edition's packaging does not make a distinction between the onboard GPU being a US sanction-compliant NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 D variant, or the original + uncompromised AD102-300-A1. Perhaps it is safe to assume that a first quarter 2024 launch model will sport ever so slightly downgraded internals—MSI has already prepared their standard silver range-topping GeForce RTX 4090 D SUPRIM X model for the region. A small batch of Ruan Mei limited editions could arrive at a later date, once the the standard card has cleared the way.

Honestly, I really like the green and gold color scheme on it. Looks very unique!

Curious they say `a MSI` considering it's `an em-es-i`. Genuine mistakes or is there some kind of way of pronouncing MSI that I don't know of?

I assure you that I used "an" correctly from the very start:

Not into Honkai or anime-themed GPU but pleased to see some new designs and "out of the ordinary" color schemes etc

I wonder how they couldn't catch that A1 level grammatical mistake. Definitely irritating.

not a bad color scheme ... should have launched this earlier last year....

That's a new character. Was only added to the game in the end of December.

Nice looking card. For that price the sticker should be mature rated.

These companies should make more of these colorful GPUs instead of the boring black ones, the anime girls are optional though

The MSI card is so fine... the 2K $ piece of crap cracks board pad and ball as it twists due to poor construction of the heatsink.

i dont know about the character but if i was in the market for a 4090 i would have bought one closer to when it was launch...
it is now 2024 and with 50 series launching later this year... i wouldn't buy it...but that's me others might buy if they love the character...
u know them fans...

Calling staff member out like that would be in very poor taste of me.
No, I meant it as sLowEnd posted. I was referring to the card.
Somehow no one at MSI caught this.
It's pronounced "Messi" like the footballer. XD
It does look very, very cool, out of the ordinary.

Apologies for the misunderstanding! All good.

Once upon a time, waifu and girl stickers were usual things for VGAs. Even the packging had them.

Looks like RGB doesn't bring that performance uplift any more, so they decided to bump the... girl theme.

Well, **IF** I were a gamr boi AND stupid enough to blow ~$2k on an anime-decorated but soon-to-be-outdated GPU, I might be interested in this, but I am neither of those things, so they can just sell them all to those who are.... :D

I just prefer my hardware to look like, well, hardware, and not some twerky-werky-jerky toi !
