How many games do not support DX10?

I want to keep this to the last 12 months or so. The ones that I've come across are (but not limited to):
-Grid
-Mass Effect
-Alan Wake (still unconfirmed as of yet)
-Medal of Honor: Airborne
-Call of Duty 4
-UT3
-Front Line Fuels of War
-Team Fortress 2
-S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
-C&C3 Kane's Wrath
-Kane and Lynch
-Shadowrun
-Timeshift
-Supreme Commander
-Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance

Is this a game developer's trend? Are there any other games?
The reasoning behind this is to see if DX10 has taken off since Jan 2007 or, has DX10 been met with some resistance? It would also be beneficial to explore any comparisons when DX9 was first introduced and how well DX9 took off.

i know Unreal Engine 3 doesn't support DX10 natively, and you've listed at least 4 games that use UE3.0. I thought Alan Wake would be a DX10 exclusive but possibly a dual DX'er.

You could be right with Alan Wake. Back at IDF 2007, Remedy demonstrated Alan Wake on a Q6600 based machine that was running a 7900 GTX (at a time when DX 10 cards were around). Ironically Remedy has already announced that the PC version of Alan Wake runs only on Vista, and that Vista is a MSR. Several SM 3.0 games that came a little too late to end up being "DirectX 9.0c games in the DirectX 10 era" brought in last minute touch-ups to make them DirectX 10 games.

Who said it was an overhaul in graphics compared to say DX8 vs DX9. It adds in features that DX9 does not support.

If you guys could run DX10 games at 40+Fps you wouldnt be saying the difference is null

My friend has a Tri-SLi 9800GTX + Q9650 rig and I was playing Crysis on all very high 2x AA and it was running 30+fps. It was amazing..

I think it's still way too early to judge DX10 -

because every game that currently supports DX10 was not written from the ground up and intended solely for this standard. Almost all the games have been ported, patched, or DX10 support was tacked on as a last minute thought (*cough*Crysis*cough*).

Once we start seeing games written around the DX10 standard, we'll see performance improve, graphics improve and wo0w factor improve.

Look at the change over from DX8 to DX9 for comparison

Shadowrun is only for Vista but it has no DX10 support. One of my favorite shooters but NO ONE plays it

It isn't. If ATI is slating R800 for 2009 and that it supports the next major update to the DirectX specifications, were just an year or so away from the next DirectX. By now DX 10 SM 4.0 should have had its roots spread. It's like telling a 22 yr old he's too young to go to work.

Dx10 seems to be having trouble getting support b/c it was made vista-only, and so many people are clinging to xp, and will complain if a major title becomes dx10 natively or only. Lot of complaining. It appears Dx10 may be moved over or revised most likely w/ the next os. Dissapointing to me, I was hoping many of the upcoming games I've been looking forward to would be dx10 native. It looks, however, like that will not be the case.

BTW its a little silly to have this list, a better one would be to compile a list that does have dx10, as they are far fewer in number.
