The file you sent me still shows "ABIT" in the DSDT. The "revision 2" driver I sent will not work unless the board manufacturer shows "ASUS" in the DSDT.

Sorry I didn't know that. I still do not quite understand how to mod the DSDT with ASUS.

in the DSDT_AWRDACPI.dsl file you sent me, just change

this:

"987134512781Genuine NVIDIA Certified SLI Ready Motherboard for ABIT X58 Motherboard3287-Copyright 2008 NVIDIA Corporation All Rights Reserved-765289891023(R)"

to this:

"987134512781Genuine NVIDIA Certified SLI Ready Motherboard for ASUS X58 Motherboard3287-Copyright 2008 NVIDIA Corporation All Rights Reserved-765289891023(R)"

then run these commands:
asl dsdt_awrdacpi.dsl
asl /loadtable -d dsdt.aml
asl /loadtable -v dsdt.aml

So I just edit the file with like Notepad remove & add the above line then run the commands you listed?

Sorry still a no go. Ran a couple 3DMarks 03 test while I was there.

Still about the same. 56214 3DMarks
Also, don't worry about benchmarking until the "Enable SLI" option shows up in the Nvidia control panel. SLI isn't going to be enabled until that option is there.

whoops... I typed it wrong. :D This is what you should run:

asl dsdt_awrdacpi.dsl
asl /loadtable -d dsdt.aml
asl /loadtable -v dsdt.aml

You'll still get some warnings when "asl dsdt_awrdacpi.dsl" is run, and that is okay. The other two lines should be successful.

Awesome! Good to hear.

I guess that confirms that Abit isn't in the list. TheWolf, can you send the "revision 2" driver to TiN? I'd send it, but I'm at work.

This will enable SLI for any board as long as they have an ASUS X58 SLIC. This way, everyone can use the same SLIC key, also. Just use the SLIC string I posted above.

The first version of the driver that was posted will only work if your motherboard manufacturer is one that has made an X58 board.

Just use the one I posted above.

Yes, I'll get that to him ASAP.

Thank you & everyone for all there hard work!

Edit: check PM TiN

Much better. :)

Now I just need to get rid of the SLIC check and modify the drivers for other OS's.

Good luck! If I can help in any way, please let me know.
I'm ready for beta testing with W7 64bit.. ;):D

WOW!!! That is some awesome work!!

EDIT:

You think this would work to enable Tri SLI on the 750i board? It's too bad I don't have 3 cards to test with.

Mine has 3 ... 1x 16x 2.0 + 2x 8x 1.1

traditionally, if the third slot came from the southbridge, SLI wont work on it.

I'd say modded drivers wont fix it, but you never know.

XS member enabled SLI,using our guide and not asking a single question on his Q9550 + P5Q Deluxe + 2 x GTX 285. :D

SLI-mania taking first non-developers reports. I'm smiling.
