First thank you very much for your help time and patience.

Second the file and the editing you did worked.
It loaded fine and after reboot I did have to remove and reinstall the ATI driver (But that no biggy) and everything seems to be great.
I have the ard OCed at
Core 850
Mem 1175
right now where before I could not even change anything.
I plan on testing it a little further tomorrow or over the weekend but I won't push it until I re apply the and check the heat sink.
Don't want to burn it up before I get to play with it.

No I have not. Also, to add if you take a look at this very peculiar benchmark result, I am furmark stable but not 3dmark. I get vpu recovers when running 3dmark06 at those clocks. Interesting?

i see you're at 877 core in that screenshot, so you have the pll-fixed bios.
oddly enough, your card's highest clock are the boot clocks, which is why i asked if you had modified the bios.
if you want, i can raise the overdrive limit, but at this point i would say give it some more voltage.

try this bios. raised the 3d clocks to 875/1200 and the 3d voltage to 1.4v(the highest bios allows).

Thanks RM, but the card still crashed in 3dm06. Even after reinstallation of drivers. I can live with what I got without a voltmod. Thanks for the attempt tho.

have you tried increasing voltage? you certainly have suitable cooling for it.

I thought once 1.4 is set in bios it will be a true 1.4 unless I am missing something here.

i actually have no clue. test it with a dmm to be sure.

watch your temps. you can probably push it further if you have adequate cooling.

Kind of not stable with 850mhz. But without the pencil mod my pc would crash when i put it on 850 now it just crashes in games after a while

for vmem i got 2.31 is that safe for gddr3 still have 1.32 for vgpu. Have mem at 1125Mhz stable in furmark haven't gone farther trying to get core higher
