Benchmark Scores Nyooom.
I'm guessing it's not gonna help me because all games I play are either DX12 or already having 5 million FPS performance rates.
There is a DX12 variant of DXVK

It's just a method to bypass game engine oddities that prefer some hardware over others - now that intel and Valve are throwing money at it, DXVK has been progressing incredibly fast
(They support the original creator, they haven't taken over)

VKD3D has been officially used for DX12 titles on the steam deck (proton is the steam deck version)
ValveSoftware/vkd3d (github.com)

I haven't used this one yet, but when game devs and GPU makers only care about current hardware on current games, you tend to find fixes for older games on newer hardware, as well as older hardware on newer games.
I'm still blown away by how well DXVK changed BL2, and how amazing it looks - damn thing looks and runs better than modern AAA titles.

I wish I had an old GPU to join the club!

The best I have is a GT 710 which isn't 10 years old, yet... and a fake GTX 550 that I don't dare plug into any of my PCs for obvious reasons.
You made me realise my 750Ti was a year early. Go figure, feels a lot older.

Still have an r7 260x in the Optiplex with a 4790k. Biggest issue is the 2GB vram, but 1080p medium-high is good for mostly 60fps in games like Witcher 3, Star Wars Fallen Order, and of course higher settings in lighter games.
just found for free MSI R7 260X 2GB in perfect condition, and paste changed recently. Put it into pair with i5-6400 for kid games like Slime Rancher, Minecraft, Roblox etc.. Such games don't really need something better, that's my opinion.

Jeez... I have so many video cards that I should follow the example of some other users here and take a picture of them. Here's my inventory:

1 x PNY GeForce 8400GS (PCI non-express model) 512MB DDR2
1 x Palit GeForce 8500 GT Super+ 1GB DDR2
2 x XFX Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5
1 x XFX Radeon HD 5450 ONE 1GB GDDR3
1 x Dell Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5
1 x XFX Radeon HD 6450 625M 1GB GDDR3
1 x Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 Windforce OC 3GB GDDR5
1 x JXZ Radeon RX 580 2048SP Jisoonzer 8GB GDDR5
2 x Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury Nitro+ OC 4GB HBM(1)
1 x XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT THICC-III 8GB GDDR6
1 x Powercolor Radeon RX 6500 XT ITX 4GB GDDR6
1 x ASRock Radeon RX 6600 Challenger 8GB GDDR6
1 x ATi Radeon RX 6800 XT O.G. Reference 16GB GDDR6
1 x ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming OC 24GB GDDR6

I'm just not sure I have a table big enough to put them all in one place (or a big enough room to zoom out enough to get them all in one picture).

Yes, I have a problem... I'm a GPU-hoarder!

DXVK is used in both Portal Games & continues to get updates now & then. AFAIK you have to use "-vulkan" ..It's also used in all Half Life 2 games & expansions..

My GTX 780 just started giving out stripes. I don't believe in oddities, I started right after installing the driver for 2 days. My father still has a GTX 670 running and it's enough for the Internet.

Curious was it an AIB board or FE? That's exactly how 2x I had (FE) died on me years back.
The first one saw 2+ years of use, then 2nd card EVGA sent did the same another 4-5 months down the road.

It was Zotac GTX 780 AMP.
It feels like the cards are broken on purpose.
I think if flash the BIOS, it might work (But I assembled a new computer and even too lazy to return this boiler gtx780 to the case).

My oldest card currently in service, an R9 270, will turn 10 (by release date, anyway) in November. Although it's not exactly mine anymore, since I gave it to a friend along with my Skylake system when I retired it. Still going strong AFAIK, though I did need to replace the fans. Got a 3-fan Zotac set from a forum member, disconnected the third fan and stuck on the remaining two with chunks of Command strip, because naturally the mounting holes can't line up.

I too, run a GTX690. Just not as sexy looking because I have a PCI triple fan mount for in cases.

Drop power limit, up clocks, bam got a 200w card that still hits stock. Perfect still for BOINC.
