HyperSLI (Enabling SLI on non-sli motherboards)

Hi everyone, I am having trouble getting this to work. This is my system:

Mobo: Asus P5E Deluxe
CPU: Intel Q6600
GPUs: 2 x Nvidia 8800GT connected w/ SLI bridge
OS: Windows 7 64-bit

When I installed, I did this:

- Made sure Venderpool (VT?) was enabled in the BIOS
- Installed latest official drivers (301.42)
- Disabled UAC
- Ran HyperSLI as administrator, rebooted when it told me to.
- Selected HyperSLI mode and rebooted again after install was complete.
- Booted into HyperSLI mode and HyperSLI looks to be working fine.

But I don't get the SLI options in the nVidia Control Panel. Here are some more things I've done to try and get it working:

- Checked Device Manager (both cards are listed with no errors)
- Reinstalled drivers after removing old ones with Driver Sweeper
- Reinstalled HyperSLI (starting from non-HyperSLI boot)
- Tried it without SLI bridge and with the bridge in both directions.
- Changed HyperSLI to software mode and hardware mode with and without Hypervisor.

Nothing has worked so far. The nVidia control panel sees both cards and lets me use the second one for PhysX but there is no option to enable SLI.

Please let me know if you have anything else I can try? If you need more information or screenshots or anything, please let me know.

Thanks!

Yep, I've tried it with the bridge in both directions and also without the bridge. Same results all three ways. :(

HyperSLI 0.8 Beta

System requirements(Hardware mode):
Intel processor with Virtualization Technology (VT-x) or AMD processor with Secure Virtual Machine (SVM)

Software mode doesn't require a processor with special hardware features
If your processor doesn't support Virtualization Technology then you can use Software mode
If no hypervisor modes used then HyperSLI will work in Legacy Mode, which means compatibility with SLIPatch 1.5.
Hardware mode has advantage over Software mode

BE AWARE. HyperSLI hides Virtualization Technology supporting. For example, CPU-Z utility never show VT-x for Intel processors and AMD-V for AMD processors under HyperSLI. This will be fixed in further versions.

Installation/updating(before HyperSLI 0.8):
1)To install HyperSLI just push install button and do reboot.
2)To update HyperSLI(update SLIPatch to HyperSLI) you just need to push update button and do reboot.
3)You should have Virtualization Technology enabled in BIOS, otherwise HyperSLI would work in Legacy Mode
4)Before installing/updating make sure you have UAC disabled and you logged as administrator.
5)No matter in which order you will install Drivers and HyperSLI.

Planned updates:
1) Virtual Machines (for example WinXP mode) supporting under HyperSLI

Obsolete:
Latest SLIPatch(not supported any more): http://anatolymik.itzod.ru/SLIPatch_v1.5_beta.exe
Modded drivers: http://anatolymik.itzod.ru/Modded%20Drivers/

Download HyperSLI 0.1
Download HyperSLI 0.6
Download HyperSLI 0.7
Download Latest HyperSLI

my slots are both x16 2.0

Make a screen please. A reason of not showing SLI option for you is probably because of bandwidth of slots. For example one of them run at lower than x4. There are many motherboards today that have slots with shared pcie links.

Do these help? The only difference I see is core clock and Video BIOS version. Both are 16x.

Card 1:

Card 2:

nVidia Control Panel missing SLI settings:

Are these what you need?
