Extraordinary and unnecessary, with many twists and turns under every curve, complicating the approach to justify the upcoming ranking and evaluation of the next generation of consumer graphics cards with the Nvidia logo.

Despite price hike, the GFLOPS/$ has increased. This is good for CUDA/GPGPU. RTX4070 computes game-of-life algorithm for a 32k x 32k map in less than 7 milliseconds, decompresses a DNA sequence at 125GB/s throughput and renders Mona Lisa portrait using randomly placed circles in 1-2 minutes with a genetic algorithm.

The way I see it is this:

5090: actually a Titan (I agree with you there).
5080: a glorified 4080 Super-Super.
5070 and below: It's too early to think anything, imo.

It's good to have fastest memory on 5080. With 10% extra overclock, it would be beyond 1TB/s and make any GPU-overclock scale much better than 4080. The whole line gets memory bandwidth boost so whole series will get better GPU oc scaling even without VRAM-oc. But probably 5070ti won't oc as good as 5080 because of binning/cropping/segment positioning/TDP.

Also 5090 should be blower-design because a lot of heat going into pc case will not be healthy for components. RAM could become unstable for example.
