pretty sure that the moduls are not attached properly, just take them out and make sure that they are tight.
After a few power cycles it worked.
But the speed are not 5600.
How do i set it up in the bios?

I've got the Kingston furry impact ddr 5 5600 cl40

Its a "thin" laptop with a "high-end" CPU and enthusiast GPU, if everything is correct in terms of configuration then it is probably throttling down due to heat.
Some things you can do that could help with temperature:
1.Raise the laptop or get a decent cooling pad that runs off it's own power(IET GT series)
2.I see you are using throttlestop so you can try and have a play with undervolting and reducing the multiplier down from its max multiplier of 56x to somewhere you are comfortable with
3. Alternatively you can turn off "turbo-boost" entirely doing something like this:
4.Return the laptop and replace it with a laptop with better cooling solution and combine step 1&2 for consistent performance for both CPU and GPU

For the longevity of a laptop to maintain its performance is keeping the temps in control.
I have 13900HK + 4080 in my Alienware X16, with a cap of 35x multiplier using intel XTU and power limit cap at 100w, I am getting 100+ fps on WZ2 running on my external monitor with temps averaging 75c on CPU and 65-70c on GPU on my cooling pad.
The laptop is only for personal/gaming use so I am not too fussed with a bit of perf dip on the CPU end.

I have a lot of warnings in TS log files. And that's when already limiting Pl 1 and Pl 2 to 65w and using extremley efficient cooling pad with a mega turbo fan with sealing sponge.

If it's underperforming still then like I said maybe try reducing the multiplier to how high the cpu will turbo boost to and if that doesn't provide a more consistent performance+thermals then best you can do is return the laptop and get a laptop with better cooling solution to pair with the cooling pad.

I thought to go to a store that do a thermal paste replacement for laptop. I found one in Berlin. Don't know if they are any good and thy won't respond to my calls.
Maybe I should use a service like that before I decide to return it.
Which thermal paste is good for the long run?

If it's not performing as it should out of the box and it's within return period I would just try and return it. Get your money back and get a different laptop with better cooling solution.

Which one do you recommend.
As I understand most of theem do the same.
Maybe better replace the thermal paste.?

only 100w for the cpu, is that on the cpu only or combines with the gpu. I would think that a alieware that you pay more money for the laptop and name would be higher. I tested a Asus g16 with the i9 13980hx for a few weeks, it was getting 130w for normal fan speeds and 140-143w on the highest fan speed.

return it, that laptop model has crap cooling.

The CPU can pull 100-115w(I need to check this as I can't remember) and the GPU can pull 150w I believe?
So Alienware/Dell basically allows the CPU to pull as high as it want until it hits 100c thermal temps. Which nobody wants from a CPU, as that will easily reduce the longevity of the laptop and makes the cooler work harder.
They did lock the multiplier and voltage control in the BIOs, so a workaround Dell/Alienware has allowed is "reducing" the tcp power limit on the CPU by upto 15w.
But I have found the bios resets it every boot up so it's a bug in the BIOs.
So a work-around I have found which seems to work is using Intel XTU, setting the P&E core to 35x-38x multiplier which only allows it to turbo boost upto 3.5ghz.
Which has reduced the CPU temps down from 85-90c to 65-80c depending on the game on my GT500 cooling pad.
The CPU will hover around 75-85c on my USB cooling pad.
The GPU sits comfortably around 70-80c while maintaining clock speed on both cooling pad.

The laptop just crashes when trying to finish a cinebench multithread run after just 5 min!
With GT500 turbo cooling pad that shaking the whole house with airflow.
Even that didn't help and cpu got to 93-100c (58 when idle)
Not sure if it crashed because of a safety concern or because it's unstable.

All settings on default. Not using TS.
Performance mode and plugged in.

I really love the screen and the weight of this laptop. I wonder if I got a dud, should I replace it and see if the new one is better or just refund it.
Thers nothing on the market right now that answer all my request from a high end laptop for gaming and video editing except msi titan which weight twice and cost more then twice of this laptop 4500 usd! . And not sure mini led is better then this oled screen. If I return it I will just wait for next year to see if something improves.

You may have got one with the heatsink installed incorrectly, those are quite high even with the GT500 making no difference at all.
In that case you can either return it and get another one and see if it's the same.
The only other type of laptop in similar class in "thin and light" with high perf hardware would be:
Razer Blade 16
Alienware X16(Ok screen for video editing if that is what you want to use it for, recommend just docking up and using a external display)
Asus Zephyrus M16/G16(Probably an Ok screen for video editing if that is what you want to use it for, recommend just docking up and using a external display)

I made another run and this time it went OK. Got a low score of 26955 though.
did another run with TS on and Pl1 and 2 set to 85. got 22150.
Thers no way to lower voltage or turbo boost multiplier from from what I understand as it all locked.
the TS log file is attached with both runs.
is it acceptable?

Your log file shows PL1 power limit throttling when power consumption is only 10 Watts. These low ball power limits are usually forced to the CPU by an embedded controller (EC). ThrottleStop has no control over the EC power limits.

Only you can answer that question. I have a low BS threshold. If I pay good money for a performance oriented laptop, I would be very disappointed to see it power limit throttling at only 10W or 11W. That is incredibly bad design. I would take your laptop back immediately and I would shop elsewhere.

MSI has a creator model series, I saw it should have a really good screen.

The Lenovo Legion series and their Thinkpad you could consider as well.
Oh there is also the HP Omen 16 as well, but i've not looked into the display.

I had try a Legion and returned it.
The screen was horrendous.
It was also twice as heavy.
Cooling was better though.

I think my options is to stay with it and use it at a bit lower performance the gaming laptop. Still would serve it purpose. It's light and has a great screen. The other option is to return it and wait for next year and get a discounted price msi titan with the 4k mini led, or get the next generation and hope they will improve.

Just noticed I have two bright spot on my oled screen when brightness set to low with 5 precent grey solid color background.
It is not as visible as in the picture, it is way more subtle and can be barley noticeable, and not at all with regular content.
It's just that I know oled is not suppose to have bleeding or uneven brightness. You think it will get worse or will stay the same.
That's my only concern as right now I cannot really notice it.

@Hollowcow

A C23 22k score with a Powerlimit of 85watt is quite nice.
Temps looking also good.

I have +- the same results without a limiter and with.

I just decided to keep it.
Replaced the ram to 64gb and ssd to 4 tb and it is getting nice results in bench.
When limiting to 65w I can get nice temps with my cooling lads and I won't get shutters in games.
I think it's a good deal for 2k laptop.
I love how compact and light it is which the other gaming laptops won't be.
I think I will keep it for a few years.
The screen is amazing as well.

I am also keeping mine.
Video editing ist nice on that screen and also the performance including the temps if you set a powerlimit are satisfying imo.
Just the missing gsync on the screen is a little annoying :)

Can I use this laptop with the Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 34?
3440 x 1440 175hz g sync compatible oled.
It has only mini display port and mini hdmi inputs.

My laptop works mostly fine with AAA games at native 3200x2000 resolution with dlss so I think it could handle it with no problem.
I'm just not sure which port should I use to enable G sync up to 175hz?
The hdmi out or the thunderbolt 4-usb c port?
It should provide display port no?

Anyone has experience with this?

I found thunderbolt to mini display port cables that's only support 5gbs and 4k at 60hz.

You have to use the USBC port.
