This is my first post so excuse me if I rant on a bit.
Intel are obviously running scared of AMD and trying to tie people in to a "system" of sorts.
Much the same dirty methods as used by IBM in the early years and latterly by the Big Bad
Bill Gates. (who also stitched up "Big Blue" big time!)
Coming over from the Amiga (actually I still have one or two kicking around I depise Intel
(as well as the "Wintel" duopoly) for making such crap chips.......
I feel I might rambling a bit. I could hold forth on Intel and Windoze for hours but I don't want to bore anyone on that subject.
Suffice to say that I nailed my colours firmly to the AMD mast and won't have anything else
apart from reviving my Amiga so that I can network the two...... maybe I need to get out a bit more often ;-)
I hope I've not broken any rules with this posting
Regards, Amiga Man
