Intel Co-Founder Gordon Moore, the Man Behind Moore's Law, Dies at 94

The law still holds, or still doesn't hold any longer, depending on who you ask. But the lawmaker and judge has passed away and now we don't know what's legal and what isn't.

He found the law. He is not the law.

Wow - I did not know that Moore who we all know through Moore's Law was a founder of Fairchild and of Intel. What an incredibly productive and successful person he was.

Edit: here is Financial times article as well, the list of companies opposing those bans includes nVidia and IBM along with Intel.

Thanks!
The Semiconductor Industry Association—whose members include Intel, IBM, and Nvidia—has cosigned letters opposing the Minnesota legislation, arguing its measures are overly broad and could prohibit thousands of products, including electronics.

Interesting that they didn't also mention AMD or TSMC who are also members of SIA.

Wow, I had no idea he and his crew were responsible for so many important creations.
RIP sir.

If you folks want to get a good book, try this one. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Another one, for another extraordinary man, is this one.

R.I.P and thanks for everything :)

We've lost one helluva man today, folks. There will never be another one like him.

RIP, sir.

Rest in peace.

Another type of "the right stuff". Godspeed.
