If power limited and undervolted, does it still support Intel APO? Would be interesting to see a test like this but with APO enabled games. Especially if you're possible to do it with all K 14th gen CPUs.
I suspect APO is scheduler related, rather than some kind of automated XTU type tuner, but if I am wrong, I think your question is a very good one, and it needs someone to try and see.

I wonder how people are pulling 41k-42k on CB R23 in the 14900K/F
I have the KF model and I can't get past 38k, i get similar numbers of the stock settings of this bench
There's also the fact that I can't run unlimited on a ALF II 360mm, I've been power limited to 280w
I guess my mobo sucks (z790 gaming x ax) lol

May I ask please about your review sample 14900k, what is the stock VID max (not VRM actual vcore) voltage?
Mine at 253w enforced in Asus Z790 BIOS tops at 1.444v for almost all cores (P and E) at full turbo stock load (CB23 for example). VRM vcore tops around 1.412v
My board doesn't read SP values (budget Z790).
I am curious where does my 14900k sits (silicon quality wise) approximately?

now what's really confusing to the average user like me is this.....the article mentions all over it that 253 is stock but isn't 125-253 stock for the values? most users would put 253 in both and when you do that it overheats. and no mention of the iccmax values. my mb had the iccmax at 517.75 and stock is 307.
also, no mention of how most if not all MB manufacturers auto Oc the CPU once we put it in the mb without our knowledge.
then lastly no mention for us new users how to adjust the settings according to intel specs.
i had to do a text chat with an intel agent to learn the proper stock values and how to apply them.
but all in all, a great article.
and if i overlooked anything please feel free to let me know I'm trying to learn here.
also, in the test graphs when you mention 253-stock are both PL values set in all tests at 253-125-95-65-35?
just wondered because i run mine 125-253-307.

It would be really nice if the new results with the new "Intel Baseline Profile" will be added.

yeah, well i got rid of the 14900K and got a 14700K instead and have it set at true intel specs and a lineload calibration and it runs amazing now.
I'm getting over 35K on CBr23 and 73C on the 30-minute test with a Noctua NH-U12A air cooler @100% fans when testing.

Is it really that happening!

The graph shows that 14900K even on 200W is better than 14700K.
35K on CBr23 was fake. That's why it's good to have real results compared.

its real here are my most recent screenshots. the CPU only hit 70C after more loadline adjustments and the score is even higher now. this SS was taken as soon as the test ended. so yeah, anything is possible when you learn and apply.

I misunderstood what you mean. There was a fake result on internet with 14900K at 35K on CBr23 with activated "Intel Baseline Profile".
