To be fair, this will likely make them some serious cash. AMD may be giving Intel a beating but they are still a powerhouse CPU maker. They are down, they are not out. What makes things in the CPU market so exciting right now is that when Intel finally does give a proper answer to Ryzen, AMD will just come back with more new hotness to counter. This is such an amazing time in PC tech!

i dont understand this outrage, it's an inert limited run box art, how can you get triggered by its existence? why would you want to live full of anger & sarcasm...

Agreed, but some are struggling to see the point to, I am not clingy with boxes for tech , not many are , so it's totally irrelevant to my purchase decision and I certainly wouldn't pay extra.
It's also a shame it's not a free game giveaway or dlc tie in from a purchase plus pov.
But it wouldn't make me buy either.

i like art (but dont like marvel, or the aesthetics of this particular box), it has nothing to do with tech

if it's irrelevant, what exactly is the point of announcing this to anyone? usually people go to their friends 'hey, check out what i got', but this thread is 'hey everyone, i have no interest in this product' at best, sarcastic vitrol at worst... why?? who cares

one problem with the box's existence is that there are those that flip collectors items for profit, this is why i hate the collectors scene, not to mention the exclusive high art scene, so glad art & music have been democratized with the internet or cheap hardware, no more rich exclusivity
