Well the point of that bench comparison right there and the fact the Intel card runs away from the 4060 at 1440p tells you that the card IS indeed better suited and poised to not give you a 1080p midrange card anymore. Its not optimized around that level, while the 4060 apparently is... it falls apart above 1080p.
The last 5 new games tested by TPW by the way. The A770 that runs away from 4060 can't win in single 1440p game and it's slower than 3060 at 1440p. In 1080p it become ugly, there can't get single win against 3060, well if you want, you can count this one time when it is 0.3 fps faster. Sure AMD don't even try, who care for this cheaper, faster and more efficient rx 7600 that in two of the games is 50% faster

It has nothing to do with optimization, Alchemist architecture is flawed and can't get fully utilized without high workloads, meaning higher settings and resolutions. Battlemage will fix a lot of this, so it'll perform more like competition in all resolutions, not just 4K.

Alchemist needs 4K resolution for the architecture to fully shine. Even 1440p is not enough.
It goes from performing like 6600XT in 1080p to 4060 in 1440p to beating 7600 XT in 4K, and nipping at the heels of 3060 Ti.
