Kojima Shows Off "Death Stranding 2: On The Beach" During PlayStation Event

Sony Interactive Entertainment's State of Play confirming the title of the game, DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH, arriving exclusively on PlayStation 5 in 2025. In Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, embark on an inspiring mission of human connection beyond the UCA. Sam—with companions by his side—sets out on a new journey to save humanity from extinction. Join them as they traverse a world beset by otherworldly enemies, obstacles and a haunting question: should we have connected? Step by step, legendary game creator Hideo Kojima changes the world once again.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach sees Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, and Troy Baker return to Hideo Kojima's genre defying universe. They will be joined by Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna, and Academy Award-winning film director George Miller. Hideo Kojima is joined by longtime collaborator Yoji Shinkawa who will direct character and mechanical design, with Ludvig Forssell and Kyle Cooper reprising their roles as musical director and title designer, respectively. As someone that grew up reading fantasy and Sci fi. Kojima is like Heinlein for Gaming. That scene was crazy. The thing is I never was into this Game until I got it for free. It is a real experience for Gamers with Open minds. .

I love it. That whole scene was peak Kojima, like something out of Metal Gear Solid. Embrace the chaos.

yeah not a fan, its just....idk too silly, some visuals look mighty impressive but if they just ditched some of the extra weirdness/comic relief, like the gloves from the lady and joker guitar guy it would be better.

Incredibly I finished the first one. Not gonna lie I had more fun in this UPS simulator than I thought I would.

I love the aesthetics of the first game and the trailer here but never played it myself, and even after watching people play it and someone explaining the story, it was like...too much.... But it definitely looks cool and interesting. I'm digging guitar man because it's ridiculous and I like how the character looks.

I loved the first one. I was never a metal gear kojima nerd but damn, the game is beautiful. Even the boring walking parts, the style and calm of it... It's a different style of game.

Probably buying this day one, I hope they don't launch it against GTA 6, Death Stranding will certainly loose bad in sales numbers but I have little doubts it will be a much more interesting game (and a lot more polished, I bet GTA 6 will be a mess at launch like it has become the norm)

The catch is these companies actually research what sells and what does not. Part of it is artistic creation but a lot of it is just raw cold marketing.

Well i hope they improve the like system as it all seems like bollocks if your lucky that it don't screw up totally, speaking of which the driving\riding is too.
